There are many over the counter hair dyes that are produced chemically that can cover up gray hair, but majority of people now specially women prefer those naturally made. Because as we all know chemically produce products can bring side effects when used compared to natural processed ingredients.
If your hair is turning gray too early before it should be or you have a few gray strands that you badly wanted to cover up, natural remedies can offer some ability to turn back the clock and turn your hair back to its natural color.
There are numerous topical solutions that are available and easy make right at home to help hide the effects of graying hair, but this one old fashioned remedy is totally effective.
The starch content in potato peel act as a natural colorant, that will slowly cover your grey hairs as early as a week or months.
First peel about five potatoes and collect a cup of potato peels. You won’t need the potatoes themselves so it’s fine to use them for a meal or recipe.
Second pour two cups of water into a bowl and add the potato peels. Bring the water to boil then simmer for five minutes.
Now take the fire off and let it cool completely. Strain the boiled potato peel then separate the liquid.
Add a few drops of rosemary or lavender oil to scent the liquid and pour the mixture into a glass container sealed completely. Use this for rinsing hair after shampooing.
You can use your usual shampoo; rinse out, then gently apply the potato peel water into the hair. Do not rinse it out. Dry and style your hair as you normally do.
